Wheel tethers
Cortex Hümbelin AG entered the field of motor racing sports with newly developed technology to offer improved wheel tethers which satisfied the regulations. The technology essential to this is protected by international patents.

Mesh
We brought to the market light-weight and effective protective textiles with special low flammability coating, as a replacement for metal mesh for air inlet ducts. Since then we have been working tirelessly to optimise our innovative and application-oriented coating technologies.

Webbing
Low weight and enormous tensile strength are critical characteristics and are the basic requirement for use in motor racing sport and aerospace. Be it for safety belts in racing cars or as part of the harness system for securing loads on supply flights to the International Space Station (ISS), a sophisticated combination of choice of materials and processing technology ensures that our webbing is not only extremely light-weight but also possess notably high tensile strength. Special coating processes also protect it against abrasion and damaging environmental influences, even in space. Textiles for flexible containers to hold liquids are also the result of our intensive development work
